Rachel Cherington is a Partner in the Firm. Ms. Cherington’s practice focuses on complex financial and corporate litigation in trial and appellate courts and in arbitration proceedings. She litigates on behalf of public and private companies, law firms, hedge funds, and individuals in disputes involving breach of contract, breach of fiduciary duty, fraud, legal malpractice and sanctions, and other complex commercial claims.
Ms. Cherington joined the Firm in 2008. Prior to joining the Firm, she was an associate at Milbank. She is a graduate of Emory University (B.A. 1995), the University of Pennsylvania Law School (J.D. 2005), and the Harvard Kennedy School of Government (M.P.A. 2019).
Ms. Cherington is a member of the Bar in New York and is admitted to practice before the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Second and Ninth Circuits, and the United States District Courts for the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York.
