Honey L. Kober has practiced extensively in the areas of complex commercial, corporate, and class action litigation, with a particular emphasis on securities and insurance matters. Her experience is widely-varied. She has served as an associate with a major New York law firm, an affiliated counsel to a mid-sized Florida firm, as well as a solo-practitioner. She has appeared before dozens of federal and state courts throughout the country, at the trial and appellate levels, on behalf of plaintiffs as well as defendants.
Ms. Kober is a graduate of Hofstra University (B.A. 1983) and Harvard Law School (J.D. 1987). Following law school, she joined Fried, Frank, Harris, Shriver & Jacobson where she was an associate in the litigation department. In 1995, Ms. Kober relocated to Miami, Florida and joined the law firm of Jorden Burt, LLP—initially as an associate and later as affiliated counsel. In Miami, Ms. Kober also established her own law firm which catered to the unique needs of small companies and individuals.
