Peter R. Jerdee is a Partner of the Firm. Since joining the Firm in 2001, he has represented prominent domestic and international corporate and individual clients in complex commercial litigation and arbitration involving a broad range of substantive legal areas, including contract, securities law, mass torts, copyright, legal malpractice, insurance, and executive compensation. He is recognized in “New York Superlawyers” (2019-2023) in the field of Business Litigation.
Before joining the Firm, Mr. Jerdee served four years in the U.S. Army Judge Advocate General’s Corps, where he served as defense counsel in numerous criminal trials. From 1997 to 2001, he was an associate in the Litigation Department of Fried, Frank, Harris, Shriver & Jacobson LLP, where he specialized in securities, antitrust and takeover litigation, intellectual property and other complex commercial cases.
Mr. Jerdee is fluent in German. He is admitted to practice in New York, New Jersey and Minnesota and before the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit and the U.S. District Courts for the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York..
He is a graduate of Princeton University (A.B., Political Economy, 1989) and the University of Minnesota Law School (J.D., cum laude, 1992; Ford Foundation Scholar in Public International Law, 1991-1992; Phillip C. Jessup Moot Court competition team, 1991).
