Eric Stodola is a Partner with the Firm. Mr. Stodola has extensive experience in financial restructuring and bankruptcy-related litigation matters. He has represented key stakeholders in some of the largest and most significant restructurings of the last twenty years, including in, among others, Lehman Brothers, American Airlines, Momentive Performance Materials, Peabody Energy and EP Energy.
Before joining the Firm, Mr. Stodola was a partner in the financial restructuring group at Milbank LLP. Previously, he practiced in the financial restructuring group at White & Case LLP and served as law clerk to the Honorable Brendan L. Shannon of the United States Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware.
In 2020, Mr. Stodola was named one of twelve “Outstanding Young Restructuring Lawyers” nationwide by Turnarounds & Workouts magazine.
Mr. Stodola is a graduate of Princeton University (A.B., Economics, Certificate in Finance, 2004) and William & Mary Law School (J.D., 2007). He is a member of the Bar in New York and is admitted to practice before the United States Supreme Court and the United States District Court for the Southern District of New York.
