Senate Judiciary Committee Approves Federal Judicial Pay Hike

The Associated Press reports that, on Thursday, January 31, the Senate Judiciary Committee approved the following federal judicial salary increases by a 10-7 vote:

District court judges, from $169,300 to about $218,000.

Circuit judges, from $179,500 to about $231,100.

Supreme Court associate justices, from $208,100 to about $267,900.

Chief Justice John G. Roberts Jr.: from $217,400 to about $279,900.
