New Amendments to Federal Rules of Civil Procedure, As Approved by Standing Committee 29 May 2014

Attached are amendments to the Federal Rules of Civil Procedure that were approved today by the Standing Committee on Rules of Practice and Procedure.  They will go to the U.S. Judicial Conference in the fall and, in all likelihood, to the Supreme Court in this form.  If, as expected, the Supreme Court promulgates them next April, they will go into effect December 1, 2015, barring Congressional action to prevent it.
